The problem
Traditional wishlists fall short: friends accidentally buy the same gift, expensive gifts are hard to coordinate, reservations often reveal who bought what and ruin the surprise, sharing across messaging apps is cumbersome, and few solutions support multilingual users or modern messaging integrations. Giftbede was built as a privacy-first social experience to fix that.
What I built
Giftbede is built around one idea: share one link and let everyone coordinate gifts privately. The platform includes personal wishlists, private and partial gift reservations, smart gift previews, Telegram notifications, private group chats for co-reservers, public profile sharing, social following, and English & Persian (RTL) support, all with privacy, usability, and mobile-first interactions in mind.
